I asked the Egosoft team if I could make this a sticky in order to attract attention and assist in finding translators. As you can see... they approved.

Unfortunately I have had an unavoidable absence from the Ego forums and am only just returning. Work will begin over my Easter holiday in earnest as unexpected ammounts of work have been placed on me from school.

What I'm doing is completely unofficial, however I am recieving support in some forms from Egosoft staff but not in a way that will guarantee my work and that of the volunteer translators will be used.

As far as I can say, there are plans to continue the x series but x-ou or X3... which comes when cannot yet be stated as Egosoft is keeping everything under wraps.

If it still doesn't work the re-installing X2 may help re-link to the new DLL but it should do that anyway once installed. You never can tell with Microsoft.

It is impossible to open it up to the wider community to a great extent as Egosoft will only include articles that are worth putting in and are accurately translated into the seven main languages.
