I had an opportunity to claim a Xenon PE - first I tried with the Claim command. The marine went outside, boarded the ship and instantly disappeared. When I'm boarding the ship myself via spacewalk, I can enter the ship, but the pilot's chair can't be interacted with. Is this is the desired behaviou...

From what I remember, there are no "special" mission ships that spawn - you just have to use the hacking device on normal transports. I had a problem with pretty much the same thing, I had Tern and Shrike with some fighters assigned to my PHQ (because I wanted them to resupply there), but since the PHQ was (mis)managed, the ships AI went completely off the rails. If your TL has enough space, it will pick up everything stored in the HQ, if not you won't be able to pack it at all.
I don't think anything is getting lost, you just need enough cargo space to store the items away for the move.

You need a TL ship with Building Software Mk2 installed. There will be a special command "Pack Station" in its command menu as soon as the software is installed.

I think their number is deliberately limited, as for quantum computers.

The rule of thumb is that when the mission type is Trade (orange money icon) you can do them with a TM ship, if the mission is Tech (white lightbulb), you need a TP.

It is incredibly sad that after obviously putting so many hours of work and dedication, Egosoft has pulled the plug on that project so soon. I suspect this is caused by the fact you have people spawned for missions, maybe they have some kind of expiry date after the mission is cancelled/failed? My suggestion would ne to give them names after picking them up in missions. This way you will know which ones are disappearing. I have an XL bar...
