are you using the vanilla game patches or are you using your own changes?

I will have to check if it is a pirate but this is a sector which is not under HOP control so it shouldn't have anything to do with policing unless it is bugged lol. This is a sector actually under my control.

Is there a right to rule/honor mechanic added like in Mount and Blade? Perhaps you aren't considered worthy enough to own your own system
Re: Interesting in game event, don't know if it was intended
Heh, would be cool but no. Not sure of the reason maybe it had something to do with me having illegal goods to them? It hasn't happened again so waiting to see if it does
Re: Interesting in game event, don't know if it was intended
I claimed the same sector and watched something similar happen.
HOP gathered there (i had +30 Rep with them) waited on the gate and just jumped into the godrealm system camping their trading stations for a few hours until the godrealm sent a response fleet to kill them.

Ah come on... you only have 2 eyes, what are you whining about ?
Its not like you owned space or something.
Best guess: Devs coded a trigger for contested systems, somebody fit enough to check ?

Hi, if you do the "Stations:Building" tutorial you will get the answer to this
Building stations in unclaimed territories do not require a Plot licence fee, the tutorial states that building in these places and bypassing the fee can be seen as an act of aggression.

Pretty sure the act of aggression is when you build in race territories and don't pay the license fee (you're not forced to in order to place the plot ) The whole point of unclaimed/Xenon space is that it's dangerous and therefore freeNotak wrote: ↑Mon, 10. True but it does provide a logical answer to the question, building in race territories and paying the fee means your station is safe, protected by the locals,argon_emperor wrote: ↑Mon, 10. building somewhere and not paying the fee means you have no protection so it makes sense that someone would come along and give you a reason to reconsider paying
Edit: either way this is an awesome mechanic, having risk free unlicensed stations in unclaimed territories would be boring

Re: Interesting in game event, don't know if it was intended
Didn’t you mention in your topic stating we can take over sectors that the AI will act aggressively to try and take sectors too? Even yours??
Re: Interesting in game event, don't know if it was intended
If you are an enemy to them, but I am not their enemy (I am even their friend lol)TerrorTrooper wrote: ↑Mon, 10. Dec 18, 01:36Didn’t you mention in your topic stating we can take over sectors that the AI will act aggressively to try and take sectors too? Even yours??

It has nothing to do with that. That is when building in another faction's territory.Notak wrote: ↑Mon, 10. I'd also guess the Pirate smuggled himself into the HOP-Patrol. If pirates are attacked before they are revealed, they call for help. Either sector owner/security will respond, friendly ships close by or both. So my best gues would be to scan the aggressor. If it's a pirate, smash. If it's really HOP, bad luck

Re: Interesting in game event, don't know if it was intended
I was joking around, what I meant was I replied already to his post up in this thread. I was pointing out the irony (not in a hostile way) but maybe i misunderstood you. Who were you referring to when you said "well spotted" and who were you referring to when you said "hes already answered". I thought you were saying that he spotted me answering my question already (but he was wrong in referring back to that post) which is why I said what I said but I might have misunderstood.Notak wrote: ↑Mon, 10.
