[6.0HF2] [BUG] Ship did not transfer ownership after successful boarding

I successfully completed a boarding Op on a Ship that I had sold to the argon for fleet assembly, but it didn't transfer ownership back to me. I can't find it anywhere right now, but it still seems to be the universe from searching the save file. The the Ship in question BDU-641.

I heard that exploiting these missions this way was nerfed at some point, but I didn't see that in the change logs that I checked. Was it? If it was, the ship should have been flagged as boarding impossible, instead of allowing me to throw marines at it to have them disappear.
