Timelines greyed out - Not available yet.

I downloaded the new update. Then tried timelines and it's greyed out. I removed all mods running with the exception of the all bought dlc and it's still greyed out. Did all the basic tutorials and still greyed out. Am I missing something here. Any help advice or even calling me and idiot would be appreciated

There is no new update

There is a public beta test for the upcoming version 7.0. After the beta, there will be a release.

With that release of the new version there will also be the release of the DLC Timelines. The DLC then has to be bought.

Ah so The timelines start isn't available to try yet, got it, Im an idiot lol

Just to be completely clear, it's not just a case of the Timelines start not being available "yet" in the 7.00 Public Beta. X4: Timelines is a separate expansion that you will need to buy, and it won't be available until the 7.00 Public Beta finishes.
