first mod for custom start: The OP Test mod

Post by begginfokillz » Sat, 1. Dec 18, 02:25

hi, as a test of making a custom start, i threw together a quickie mod which upgrades the young gun start with a fully upgraded ship and 250k start cash. It also adds a completely custom start called the pirate pauper. This mod is posted as is, and might have some bugs i have no clue of. enjoy

changelog:
11/30/2018: initial launch of game, and my mod
12/1/2018: Made a real effort this time to make a custom start scenario. its called the pirate pauper

sounds great but doesnt it flag the game as modified?
i use a MEMHEX based tool, have 999.999.999 credits and a clean save.
dunno if they can be shared tho, think steam user is embedded in the save

yeah, but you need to locate the return money during sales.
not your own money.
Add Credits When Buying or Selling At Shop -
select an item and add it to the shopping list. For instance,
you can click Consumables on the left, then select Flares to
add an amount. Next, click the 'Add to shopping list' button
on the right. This will end the shopping and on bottom right you
will see the Final Balance.
Use CE to alter the Final Balance so the final become will be the Current Balance plus
the amount shown. Once you see the Final Balance
has changed, then click Confirm Order and you have the new
amount of Credits!

to all those curious, yes it will flag your save as modded, but does not affect achievements to the best of my understanding.
