DLLSS-G. Is it possible?

Post by ScandyNav » Wed, 13. Sep 23, 15:38

Starfield has a mod which replaces FSR with DLSS-G https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/761(frame generation for 40x cards).
Is it possible to do the same with X4 ?

Last I heard the engine doesn't have the motion vector data needed to use FSR2 & DLSS2/3...yet. The current implementation of FSR simply renders the game at a lower resolution (internally) and then uses the fancy FSR upscaler to get back to the set resolution.

If the game engine is changed to pipe motion vector data to the driver we should see more advanced versions of FSR become an option. At the point I hope they add DLSS support as it (currently) has superior image quality relative to FSR.
