special damage help

I make a Xenon boss ship, But in my test, Asgard‘s capital ATF cannon can easily to destroy it, but if I Increase its hull, It will make any other ship difficult to confront it, So is there a way to reduce the damage of Asgard's main gun to it and without affecting other weapons?

no. Weapon damage is calculated the same way regardless of what it hits.

I checked the code of vanilla weapon, some weapon like brust ray or mining ray has special damage for some targets, brust ray have 13 times damage to surface element and mining ray have 300 times damage to asteroid, they have a special tags in weapon FX file. So may I can make tags like this to asjust damage multiplier.

Well vanilla Asgard's main gun is so OP to begin with, I don't think there's any real way around it. Best solution would be a mod that nerfs the Asgard ray.

Guys,I finished the damage resistance to ATF maingun, this sistem will loadout in my last shipmod Ziz Battleship first in Steam Creative WorkShop next update.(about few days)
New Xenon battleship is modding now, and it will loading more effective resistant system.
