10 Million Credits in Less Than 4 Hours - Guide

I found a fairly simple way to make a ton of credits early in the game.

Step - 1 Go to Argon Prime
Step - 2 Fly to the asteroid belt
Step - 3 Look for glints on the various asteroids
Step - 4 The glints are valuable crystals
Step - 5 Shoot the crystals and hoover them up
Step - 6 Sell them at stations

More info:

Ignore the purple crystals...they are practically worthless.
Blue, yellow, orange are the main credit makers.
Grey crystals are super rare, but they have insane value.

I did this for less than 4 hours and made 10 mill.

I started out in black hole sun, but have not yet found a gate out? How did you get to argon prime?

I did gather some christals but did not find any station in Argon Prime where I were able to sell them to. At which stations exactly do yo sell them? Give an example please.

In Argon Prime, there is an Argon Wharf quite close to the asteroids. Just dock, get out of your ship and head to the shop to sell to the trader there.

If you just use trade from within your ship, I couldn't see a way to sell them, but walking to the shop allowed me to sell.

yeah it will, when you hit esc you can see a yellow (modified) on your character profile

I bumbled my way in... Found an anomaly in Blackhole sun that took me to The vault, then found the gate to argon prime. Been running back and forth in prime collecting crystals of all sorts. Just ordered my first mining ship

Is this the asteroid belt to the south and west of the Wharf?

I spent a bit of time flying through there and none of those asteroids seem to have the shootable clusters.

Am I missing something or am I in the wrong area?

I've found a couple of asteroids with crystal-like growths on them, they are South West of the Wharf. I've only found two so far, though just exploring rather than specifically mineral-hunting. This is a nice touch...I wonder what the significance of all the wrecks in the area are?

I usually make a couple of passes and get 800k from it. Smaller roids and spinning roids are the ones to look out for. Also... be aware some of the drops are illegal in Argon space

Also... Second contact and black hole sun can be lucrative for crystal hunting. I found some bornite crystals in second contact... and they are 500k a slice

I find that in Argon Prime because I get a large variety of the higher valued crystals. In both second contact and black hole sun the majority I get are the worthless purple ones. Also, Argon Prime is pretty pirate free so you can go unmolested.

It's one large belt. Just enter it anywhere.

You have to look for the glints coming from the asteroids. They are the ones with the crystal growths on them.
