I've been looking for the damned things for the last 2 or 3 months! Do I have to be physically there? The explore command found nothing to date, but I did find two of them manually (and very tediously...)
You don't need be physically in the sector. Just load ship full of advanced satellites and give it command to deploy them coordinated to each sector.
I found 2/5 with this way. 3 I spotted using either long range scanner or was just in the sector flying due mission / travel.
1 of those I spotted by myself was just in the cutover of 2 satellites coverage area so it wasn't visible in the map until I went there.
I would say these were more easy to find due them became visible from longer range while you fly than vanilla game timeline data vaults.
Sounds like a better plan than the one I'm currently working. Thank you. - I've hazardous region mods on a few few ships, so will send them to spam adv satellite coverage, and hopefully come up with the remaining vaults. - Mind, I'm now quite comfortable churning out Asgard, so it's less of a pressure to acquire blueprints than it was.
“Man, my poor head is battered,” Ed said.
“That explains its unusual shape,” Styanar said, grinning openly now. “Although it does little to illuminate just why your jowls are so flaccid or why you have quite so many chins.”
“I…” Had she just called him fat? “I am just a different species, that’s all.”
“Well nature sure does have a sense of humour then,” Styanar said. “Shall we go inside? It’d not be a good idea for me to be spotted by others.”
