Your Own Sector Security

Post by OrionTaltos » Fri, 28. Jul 23, 06:50

With NPC sectors, Core / Border security have a pretty understandable use. For a sector you control, what does setting the security do? Is it just a flavor detail or does it impact who enters?

Sorry if this has been answered, I failed to find an explanation.

Ah, gotcha! Thanks for the answer!

My setting would be Passive because I just try to stay out of the way of the marauding hordes ;)

For the hub sector I deliberately keep all my ships and stations at either the top or bottom and I also put jump beacons by both so my ships don't have to share use of the gates with the riff-raff as they come and go
