Hi. Just replaying the X series for the nostalgia so I started with X2. However, I have one nagging question.

Are the "Build factory here" missions available in X2 or did they only begin in X3 onwards?

IIRC, https://www.egosoft.com/support/faq/ind ... &version=4 describes all missions in X2.
X3R had essentially same "hardcoded" missions. X3TC had new, "Mission Director", implementations https://www.egosoft.com/support/faq/faq ... &version=9 (including the "Build").
