Excellent!!!

It is a relief to read Kaitrin did not die when the mobile base got destroyed!

Now there is one thing that puzzles me a bit: Does Force work in with Morn to obtain the JumpDrive? The last couple of paragraphs sort of imply it.

Also, why is this victory better for Morn than the one she could have won? Does this not contradict? Or does it refer to her having been in a position where she could have lost it all?

Typo? "Powerful allies do fearsome enemies make. "

No - the mobile Base is fine - what was destroyed was a Lifter carrying magalit, hence the cloud.

Victory? That depends on what Morn is planning doesn't it?

Simply winning a vote would not destroy Daht, which is one of her main aims. However, encouraging Daht's allies to become even more embroiled far away from home base, opens up possibilities for mischief.

true, little defense of the Force fabs makes them a lot more vulnerable. well, I guess she does not know that Jackson is in with Max deeper than one would expect

Well that seems to have turned out to be a bit of a stalemate for Daht, but this Black Heart albatross sounds like trouble ahead, time for Max to get his own TL and a whole bunch more fighter ships eh?

Managed at last to catch up on the story, though I must admit I had to read these recent parts a few times to get the jist of what is happening overall.

Been very busy of late on run up to Christmas so I haven't been able to read the forum much......
Good read again though and look forward to reading some more when I can get the time
