A little script that writes a time stamp and the total profit of a selected UT to the players log:

@Trickmov: Added both, but are you really sure you want your STO to use the same command slot as Cycrow's Mercenary Guild?


@DSE [ITF]: A link would be nice.


@euclid: Added. X3plus used to use text page 7002 for Attack Rocks (BAR), but since BAR is now signed that may not be a problem. Should the LT upgrade be moved to "unsupported" bin?

Thanks for adding. The problem with the command slots is the following:

In the german list the only free slot is 29, in the english list 47.
So i will have a conflict anyway, or can you tell me which slot can be used in both languages without any conflicts?

I think the average user can change the slot by him/herself. (At least do i hope so :wink: ).
I will add an explanation about this to the description.

* Euclid's Lasertower upgrade deprecated.

@Trickmov: Yes, collisions are unavoidable. SymTec ltd. seems to have an idea here, which Lucike has implemented in his scripts too (for example here). If I understand it correctly, the user does not need to edit anything but language-files (for example with Notepad) to solve conflicts. Make it as easy for the user as possible.

but isn't ur logic abit flawed.

instead of going for 1 that conflicts with either language, you pick one that conflicts with both ?

isn't that even worse ?

unfortuatlly conflicts are unavoidable due to the limited number of slots

Yes, you are right, i just didn´t look into the list, when sending the script to the german list, so the fault was happened, before i had seen that there was a conflict in the english list, too.


Let´s hope that in the future (next version of the game) there is a no system like this with numbers, but like in AL-Plugins or in hotkeys, so that there can´t be any conflicts.

There are a few requests to add the Revive Dead Ships fix to the sticky here because people couldn't find it via search engine.

It's a script that does not use any command slot nor any text or page id.

Just as a comment, I get notifications of this thread to keep up with whats new being added to the list.

It would actually be useful for this function if the post also included a couple of line explanation of what it did.

Most of what gets added, has a name thats so vague that it doesnt even trigger cutting and pasting the link to see what it is. But a short description would be very informative.

Just a suggestion.
