Is there an alternate hosting anywhere? I hate Rapidshare.

Seems Rapidshare sucks really. 10 Downloads max. Without registered account!

I send this even to N-S, seems like he don't want to put it into his sig. Don't know why.

I've just recently finished reading this, N-S that was bloody brilliant! Whilst it's a crying shame that it had to end, all stories must at some point. I've been reading Sci-Fi/Fantasy for many many years and these are 437 pages of pure gold!

Perhaps..
..but then there's the problem of which direction to take it, how to keep it sufficiently fresh and interesting, and all without rehashing old ideas. It is after all sometimes possible to have too much of a good thing even though that may seem improbable. For a professional writer of course it might be less of a concern, that is after all what they get paid for. Sadly, I'm not one.
It's a concern as you can see just from a glance down the Creative forum at all the child DiD's that spawned in the wake of 'Steve' et al and died just as quickly. There aren't many that really got anywhere.
Still, if nothing else, the whole thing engaged peoples imaginations for a while and introduced them to some new concepts, a new way to look at things perhaps, outside of the rigid definitions of 'How it should be played' so that's no bad legacy to end on.
As for the future?
Well, the future is what the future will be, so we'll see.

I can understand that NS.
If it doesn't happen, and I think I'm speaking for every one of your fans, you have left us with 3 of the most compelling reads on this forum. Your legacy will go on and on as people throw away the manual and use techniques and ideas spawned by Squiddy, Mac and Steve.
Cheers

I believe that forgiving them is God's function. Our job is simply to arrange the meeting

I don't know, Scion Drakhar's seems to be working pretty well.
And besides, the Steve start is not easy. At all. But with two new plots to work, and all the 'DF Fun' of post-2.5 boarding...
Of course it's your choice to do or not, but it's not the game itself that's interesting. It's the talent of the writer. Just playing the game and telling about it is okay, but telling a story requires a talent and flair that not everyone has. Plus you've got the dedication to put the game time in and write the story.

I've read this great story a long time ago already, but coming back to X3 I wanted some inspiration. Sadly the links for the screenshots are dead. And the pdf versions, all 3 of them actually, are no longer available on Rapidshare. Please PM me if you have one of the pdf, or post a working link if you know any.
BTW I do have the pdf version of the previous stories, Squiddy McSquid and Zen, if anyone's interested.

I've got PDFs of all three of Nuke's DiDs. I can upload one to a file share site some time tomorrow when I've got a better connection to use. I'll post a link here when it's done mate
