Here are some tips to get you started.

For testing purposes, we've set-up a test page you can use to get accustomed to Confluence and editing this Wiki.

Hier findest du einige Hinweise, die dir beim erstmaligen Erstellen und Bearbeiten von Seiten in diesem Wiki helfen.

Zum Testen der verschiedenen Funktionen haben wir eine Testseite erstellt, auf der du dich mit der Benutzung von Confluence und dem Bearbeiten dieses Wikis vertraut machen kannst.

1. Create a page / Eine neue Seite erstellen

  • Click "Create" and select "Blank Page" to create your first page.
  • New pages are created as children of the page you are currently viewing.

Deutsch

  • Klicke auf "Erstellen" und wähle "Leere Seite", um deine erste Seite zu erstellen.

  • Neue Seiten werden als Kinder der Seite erstellt, die du dir gerade ansiehst.

2. Editing pages / Etwas zu einer Seite hinzufügen

  • Click "Edit" (or press "E" on your keyboard) to enter the Confluence editor and use the page layouts feature to structure your content using sections and columns.
  • Use headings to format your text and drag and drop images into your page to provide visual interest.
  • Click "Insert" and select "Other Macros" to add macros for navigation, special formatting and other media.

  • Klicke auf "Bearbeiten" (oder die "E"-Taste auf deiner Tastatur), um den Confluence-Editor aufzurufen. Nutze die Seitenlayout-Funktion, um mit Bereichen und Spalten deinen Inhalt zu strukturieren.

  • Nutze Überschriften, um deinen Text zu formatieren und ziehe Bilder per Drag & Drop auf deine Seite, um sie visuell ansprechender zu machen.

  • Klicke im Editor auf "Einfügen" und wähle "Andere Makros" aus, um Makros zur Navigation sowie für spezielle Formatierungen und andere Medieninhalte hinzuzufügen.

Atm the structure of pages is in flux. The only currently defined rule is that pages should be put underneath the appropriate language Wiki. Atm we have a root page for English and German.

  • Add labels
    Labels help keep pages organized and make it easier for you to find the information you need. Click "Labels" at the bottom of a page to add or edit.

Deutsch

Aktuell werden alle Seiten listenartig untereinander angeordnet. Die einzige Regel beim Erstellen von neuen Seiten ist, dass diese im jeweiligen Sprachbereich unterzubringen sind. Zurzeit haben wir einen Bereich für deutsche und einen für englische Artikel.

  • Stichwörter hinzufügen

Mit Stichwörtern können Seiten besser organisiert werden. Zudem helfen sie dir dabei relevante Informationen schneller zu finden. Klicke auf "Stichwörter" im unteren Seitenbereich, um Stichwörter hinzuzufügen und zu bearbeiten.

    Following on from a suggestion in http://www.egosoft.com/x/questsdk/devchat/chat.php, (resulting from forum downtime), it would be appreciated if any external links (eg screenshots, excel docs, 'shopped maps etc) could be presented as such (ie direct external links)

    This would remove 1 click&wait 'transaction' to the forum & then to <external site>, & also remove any problem with forum accessibility

     

    Ofc if there is relevant forum chat feel free to link that too: simply make the direct link available as well as the forum link..

      I agree, external links should be marked as that. Ideally, with a little symbol behind the respective link, as it is done in the Wikipedia (). (Can of course also be a different symbol, but must be hosted on the Egosoft Wiki).

    Übersetzung des englischen Artikels "Getting started. Ich habe den Punkt "Create Templates" jetzt erstmal weggelassen, da man dazu ja scheinbar eh Administratorenrechte benötigt, die kein normaler Nutzer haben wird. X2
