Once an Argon Federation border system that survived one of the worst Xenon incursions in Argon history, Antigone Memorial made it through the shutdown through the sheer willpower of its people, who banded together and unified in order to make sure their beloved home did not once again become crippled by such dark times.
It now serves as the capital of the fledgling Antigone Republic and has seen a long stretch of peace and growth due to its distance from both major Xenon threats and the Holy Order of the Pontifex.

Antigone Republic is one of the safest systems in the gate network. Tucked away behind the void it benefits from its proximity with the ever-amicable Segaris Pioneers (CoH) and remoteness from any hostile factions. New players may want to experiment with building a food supply factory here, taking advantage of the ample Ice resources and sunlight. It is also worth noting that this sector can spawn a Kha'ak Hive so it may be worthwhile sticking to L miners that are able to shrug of Kha'ak raids or just keeping a few destroyers on hand to quickly destroy the hive as soon as it spawns.
