Conquest

1) Fleets that patrol around sectors/clusters/between galaxies. Also, invasion fleets which target specific zones. Boarding fleets which try to capture stations. There are also Invasion fleets which seek out the player wherever the player may be!

2) Large Scale Intergalactic wars between different factions for control of zones! Some factions will fight each other and try to take over zones. Factions can be completely wiped out.

3) Player can take over zones and fight wars as well. There are also various diplomacy options for diplomacy with NPC factions.

4) NPC factions will try to defend their territory and take back territory lost.
5) If a faction loses enough territories its strength will decrease and it will have less ships until eventually it is gone.
6) Xenon will try to invade and destroy everything!
7) Split will try to control their home sector and defend it, but they do not leave the sector.
8 ) Argon will try to hold Xenon back and expand into Maelstrom

9) PMC, HOA and ROC will be fighting a massive war
10) Reivers will try to take over all of Devries.
11) HOA will try to liberate Albion.
12) Sovereign Syndicate are allied with HOA but only marginally. They won't fight each other but are both vying for zones and power.

Economy

1) Changes to the Devries economy. More stations in Devries, but not a full economy.
2) New Ships variants and some entirely new ships.
3) Factions replace destroyed stations by trying to build with CV's
4) Corporations attempt to build new stations which must be fully constructed with CV's requiring all resources.
5) All ships built or produced have a function now. You can also sell ships to other factions, gift them to other factions, etc. and they will work for those factions.

6) Full economy for the Heretic Vanguard.

7) Simplistic economy for Xenon.

Piracy

1) "Plunder" capability for ships assigned to stations via Marvin's patch.

2) Xenon capital ships can be boarded (with some limitations - it is not possible to give them drones)

How do you become a member on this?  I thought at first it was just the same login for the Egosoft forums but that doesn't work.

    1. In order to obtain this mod for X Rebirth ("Conquest and War in Rebirth"), you just need to use the download link for the Nexus site listed in the forum thread here.

Well I know that lol.  Ok so I feel that I'm pretty tech savvy but for the life of me I can't figure out how to create an account for this, at least not one that I can seem to login to.  I have an Egosoft account, that doesn't work.  I have an Atlassian account, but I signed up with google and can't use that to login...  Just trying to create an account for this particular wiki seems to be like pulling teeth, any help is welcome.

        1. Ah, I see what you mean now.

There's no general way to login to the wiki. Only Egosoft staff and a few helpers like myself have unique accounts.

Having said that, there's no explicit need to login as anyone can create or edit pages without doing so.

I don't know whether external accounts like yours can be linked to the wiki or not so I'll pass that on to Egosoft.

Nope, that's not possible. Atlassian accounts are completely separate from Egosoft's. The one has nothing to do with the other. Atlassian is just the company who created Confluence (the system we are using for the wiki). So any account you have with Atlassian is not at all related to the wiki here.

As Sparks already pointed out, we can only provide a few accounts atm (which we do for moderators and obviously Egosoft employees). Anybody else can contribute to the wiki without having to log in.
