The Fedhelm is supposedly a dedicated ore miner, though the game only really cares about the cargo bay type and the presence of appropriate mining drones. Therefore like all freighters with Bulk-type storage, the Fedhelm can collect any type of ore as long as the Surface Miner URVs are equipped. It is not a particularly appealing ship for this purpose, though, having the slowest speed of all Bulk mining ships and relatively poor armament, and no particular merit to make up for those flaws.
