The Discoverer carries a long and proud tradition of being one of the best and most flexible scout-type vessels in the galaxy. In X4 the tradition continues with the Discoverer being as reliable as ever. Now it even has the distinction of being the only scout to carry two weapon hardpoints.
Compared to the Sentinel variant, the Vanguard is faster but has less cargo capacity and hull strength.
