Space can be a very hostile place, and one of the big hazards to be careful of are missiles shot by enemy missile that could really ruin your day. The help with this, all ships now come with inbuilt systems to track and target incoming missiles. Using the control to fire a counter missile, a mosquito missile will be loaded and shot at an incoming missile without you having to change your missile loadout or adjust your primary target. Your ship is also capability of targeting the nearest, or cycling through a list of enemy missile if you want to manually shot them down.
If you are rich, you can also upgrade your ship with the Missile Defence system, which will work automatically
Missile Defence is a system that allows ships to automatically react to missile attacks. It locks to the perusing missile and launches a own Mosquito Missile to destroy it and thus serve as countermeasure. The required software can be bought at INSERT LOCATION HERE and once installed works immediately as long as there are Mosquito Missiles in the cargo hold.
