Ship Hacking
Drone hacking
To initiate a drone hack, you must have purchased a Trojan ROV, available at many drone dealers.
To hack a ship fly within 1km of the ship and activate(double click) the ship; select Drone Hack on the radial menu that just popped up.
Now several icons will have popped up over the surface of the target ship; fly to within 100 units and activate one; you will be presented with a minigame.
This timing game requires you to match the line with the highest frequency point that is visible on the graph; there are several in the chart that will result in success and several larger ones which result in failure.
Once you have succeeded in this minigame, the following affects are immediatly applied to the ship:
Disable all components, shields reset to 0. Capital shield generator restores even when hacked(probably a bug).
Damage 20% on all components.
