Large and Extra Large (L/XL) ships (AKA capital ships) use free-flight within zones and boosters between zones. They are unable to use any highways. Capital ship boost speeds are typically 2024-times their started regular speed (e.g. a Taranis without engine damage will boost at 1920 m/s). The exception to that are Teladi Capital ships, which boost at ~16-times their regular speed.
