Then the ship lands.
Docking computers
With the docking computer MK1 a docking alignment indicator screen is projected in the cockpit when near the landing pad if docking permission is requested showing what parameters still need adjustment.
With the docking computer MK2 the ship will automatically land when near an available friendly landing pad even without requesting docking permission.
