  1. Start X Rebirth.
  2. In the start menu go to Settings -> Game Settings.
  3. In Game Settings scroll to the end of the list, select "Restore Defauls", press ENTER and confirm the next dialog.
  4. Go to Settings -> Graphic Settings
  5. In Graphics Graphic Settings scroll to the end of the list, select "Restore Defaults", press ENTER and confirm the next dialog.

In exceptional cases the default configuration might not work for your setup and starting the game even with the default configuration in place might fail (this can happen for some older graphic graphics cards or certain uncommon laptop configurations).
