To reset the configuration from within the game, follow these steps:

  1. Start X RebirthStart4.
  2. In the start menu go to Settings -> Game Settings.
    In Game Settings scroll to the end of the list, select "Restore Defauls", press ENTER and confirm the next dialog.Restore Defaults.

  3. Select "Yes" and press ENTER

  4. Go to Settings -> Graphic Settings

  5. In Graphic Settings scroll to the end of the list, select "Restore Defaults", press ENTER and confirm the next dialog.

Note: This resets the game options as well as some of the graphic settings (excluding certain settings like the game resolution or whether the game runs in windowed or fullscreen). To perform a complete reset, follow the steps described in the next section.
