Overview
The Covert Operations plot is one of the main plost in X4 Cradle of Humanity and was introduced with the DLC and the 4.0 "Introducing Terraforming" update. In the plot players can select between creating a trade schism between the Argon Federation and the Antigone Republic, open war between the Terran Protectorate and a coalition of the Argon Federation and Antigone Republic or allow the status quo to remain.

Cost
The cost of the plot is roughly the same for all outcomes, only the rewards differ:
- Build hull parts factory in a specific part of Argon space
