In v4 a mission (X-perimental) appears when you enter Omicron Lyrae. This mission's reward (the Jump Drive) will greatly enhance your current travelling limitations.. but it does have its cost!
In order to craft the new Jump Drive you will need to obtain Xenon Components, 10x Jump Drive Components (Rare) & 20x Jump Coolant (Rare). <Sparky please check figures>
Once you've completed the mission, additional JD coolants willl allow <playership> to jump almost instantly to any gate or jump beacon within the known galaxy without the need for the 10-minute cooldown period. There is some discussion currently as to whether a station engineer's 'repair' function will also allow a similar bypass
