Description Summary

Discoverable with the aid of a Low Frequency Locator, Hyperspeed Access Points (HSAP) are positions in space that can be used to traverse long distances within a system. In conjunction with an Interplanetary Drive System (IPDS), HSAPs can help reach Remote System Locations that are otherwise not easily accessible. HSAP locations vary, and not all systems allow for their existence. If present, however, their position can be used for the construction of Trans-Orbital Accelerators, creating permanent connections that allow general traffic to travel between sectors.

A Hyperspeed Access Point's location is determined by positioning three Relay Beacons within a specified area. Triangulation will define the point where the Interplanetary Drive System can be activated and thereby accelerating the ship towards its destination.
