Commentary

An anti-fighter capital ship weapon only produced by the Argon which deals secondary area of effect damage in sector. The primary shot fragments into 4 smaller projectiles on contact with a target or reaching the range limit that scatter in a conical pattern for an additional 0.8km range dealing lower damage to ships hit or caught in the blast radius of the fragments. The area of effect damage applied in sector makes this weapon highly effective at killing dense swarms of M5-M3s, fighter drones and swarm missiles however the Flak Artillery Array is more effective out of sector where the area of effect damage is not applied. Shooting an Ion Disrupter from the same weapons bank as a Cluster Flak Array causes the chain lightning effect of the Ion Disrupter to bounce to the primary and fragmentation bullets of the Cluster Flak Array extending the effective range of the Ion Disrupter to over 2.8km.
