Commentary
A Terran ammo using weapon for corvettes and larger ships that deals damage comparable to Ion Shard Railguns. The long range combined with a low energy cost and slow rate of fire makes this laser ammo efficient and capable of dealing sustained damage to larger targets from a safe distance enabling Terran M6s to take on capital ships with ease however the slow projectile speed makes hitting smaller targets harder. M/A-MLs are the only option for Terran M7s trying to engage larger ships as they cannot equip PSPs and lack the laser energy reload rate for the sustained use of anti-fighter SSCs which deal lower hull dps. Like all ammo using Lasers the Matter/Anti-Matter Launcher uses very little Laser Energy making it good for M6/M1 ships in sector where laser energy regeneration is limiting however it also suffers the same problems as other ammo using Lasers OOS where each 3/10 second round of combat chews a whole crate of ammo making them very inefficient to use OOS.
