This former major Queendom colony has evolved from a ship construction hub to the seat of the temporary Providences Adrift government. From here, the makeshift alliance of various local political figures is trying to keep its Boron charges alive. Although this interim government does enjoy the trust of its citizens, many Boron have given up on trying to make a living in space. Instead, many have chosen to settle down on the local Planet of Nakshatra. This drain of manpower has put an additional strain on the Provinces Adrift's already severely weakened economy. Despite the state of their economy, the Boron of Great Reef are trying unwaveringly to maintain a baseline of ship production. To this end, the administration has begun a cooperation with Atreus Shipbuilding Currents. Although smaller vessels are built with somewhat frequent regularity, the Boron are still struggling to reliably maintain a shipyard. Before the system's connection to the Queendom was severed, piracy was a serious issue. Raids on the ships entering and leaving this space were constant. Thankfully, and somewhat counterintuitively, the frequency of Boron pirate attacks has significantly decreased during the period of isolation. The question of whether the cause of this development can be traced back to a significant decrease of attractive targets, or if it is yet another display of inherent Boron solidarity in the face of adversity, is as yet unsettled.
